About Sky Campground
Sky Campground is on the forested west slope of Mount Wittenberg, offering a more sheltered experience than the coastal sites. Multiple trail connections from here — you can loop to Glen or Coast via the Sky Trail. The forest canopy provides shade and wind protection, making it a good choice in colder months.

How to Get There
- Start at Sky Trailhead (Limantour Road). Parking is available, but arrive early on weekends — lots fill by 9 AM.
- Follow the trail for 1.4 miles (~430 ft of climbing). The trail takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on pace and pack weight.
- There is no check-in. Carry your Recreation.gov confirmation (printed or on your phone) to show rangers, and leave a printout on your dashboard if you park overnight.
